Review of Shaft

Well-worn cop drama, well-told but ultimately forgettable. Worth going to see principally for the legendary character. A standard night out at the cinema and good-value popcorn stuff. Shaft is a charismatic an unorthodox cop. Old-fashioned when you compare it to the in-depth character stuff of NYPD Blue though.
